"We were impressed with the check-in process and the condo we rented. In general, the unit was clean, but it definitely needs an update to the living room furniture. The couch and love seat were dirty and very hard to sit in. The grounds were very secure and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed the pool and the beach. We were on the top floor of Saida II next to another property.
Our only complaint was the odor from someone smoking marijuana. It was very strong at times when we would sit on the patio, but the worst was when the air conditioning kicked in. The smell came through the ventilation system in our unit. We reported it to the rental company and they said they would contact security and they would investigate. Smoking of any kind is prohibited on the property. The odor gave both of us a headache. We left a day early because we couldn’t handle it any longer. When we spoke with security on our way out, they knew of our call and said they investigated and found it was coming from the complex next door. Disappointed that we had to leave early.

"Check in process was so easy. We were about an hour early, thankfully, our rental was ready and we were allowed to check in early. We found the unit was clean, and had a fabulous view of the beach and ocean. From our balcony, we were able to watch a fireworks display that was done on the water... spectacular! The only issues we experienced were trouble with the TV in the living room, it would not come on, and the elevator was out of order for about 24 hours. We used the stairs and got our steps in, but the 6th floor was a ways up. Overall, it was a great stay for the price and we would stay there again.

"I recently rented 3 condos at Saida with only 1 being accurately represented on your web site. Units 2602 & 2402 specifically state they have 2 walk-in showers and no tubs, while in truth both have one tub/shower & one walk-in shower. Last year I had the same experience with unit 2404 and questioned Robert regarding that when I reserved the condos this year. He assured me there would be no tub/shower and stated he personally knew that 2602 had no tub. It seems your web site descriptions, and some agents, cannot be trusted in their representations. In the future, as in the past, I prefer walk-in showers, but I'm not sure how to reserve a unit with PIR and feel comfortable I would get what I requested.
On another note, the Saida Towers staff were excellent as always, the facilities were clean, and the beach was much cleaner than last year. Four of the five PIR staff members I interacted with were very helpful, I can't say the same of my experience at noon on 6/12/22, he was not helpful at all. We exchanged linens three times and they were very friendly and helpful as well.

"This was our first trip to South Padre Island. The Saida2 #602 condo was great. We had a fabulous view. The condo was very clean. It is somewhat older especially the bathrooms but everything was great. We had some problems the first day with a stuck shade and the refrigerator that was not functioning; it was fixed within five hours of our call to the office. Excellent service - everything was the way we would hope it would be. The facilities including the pools and the “access to the beach” was wonderful. We had a great stay

"This was super spacious and the view was perfect! 1 bedroom unit but 2 full bathrooms. The balcony view is little bit of the pool but all ocean. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. When within the unit, it is quiet. Like you can't hear anything going on below or the two units next to you. I will say the water pressure was extremely low the first time I took a shower but after that it was fine. There were some stains of the side of the refrigerator that weren't cleaned when I got there but it wasn't a big deal to me. However, it may be a big deal to someone else. The couches we're a little stiff/hard and not easy to relax on. However, I did still sit and watch TV for a couple of hours. I also do not believe the cable connection works to the bedroom TV, though the TV itself does turn on. I didn't use anything in the kitchen so I cannot speak to that. I still give it 5 stars. The location and view are perfect. Everything is within walking distance. The bed is comfy, you have the beach, pool, and pool bar (open until 9 PM). Restaurants just outside the complex gates, within a 5 mins walking distanve, or Isla Grand next door has a decent restaurant and bar (open until 2 AM). Oh! And try out Yummies Bistro for breakfast or early lunch. Short 5 (almost) min walk. They're open until 2 PM. SO GOOD!

"This was such a great experience. The property and condo are both very well maintained.This condo is on the 6th floor (top floor) and looks out directly onto the beach/ocean. You can see the waves crashing onto the beach laying in the master bed. The condo is very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The condo is very close to the beach, approx 5 minute walk from room to ocean. The property has 3 pools/hot tubs, 4 tennis courts, and 2 wooden walkways from the property to the beach. The property is gated, so you can only get in or out with a code or pass and they have security guards that walk the property regularly. We felt very safe at all times. Overall great experience at Saida II 602. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

"Saida II 602 is a one bedroom 2 bath unit on the sixth floor. The location was great - close to the causeway, shopping and restaurants. The view was fabulous although we were disappointed the balcony was shaded all day during the winter. The unit does need to be updated (kitchen, bathrooms, outdoor furniture) but it was very clean and comfortable. When we contacted the office about low water pressure throughout the unit, the staff was friendly and prompt.

"This 1 bedroom unit is on the 6th floor of a 6th story building. The view is worth the $$$. Everything was clean and the room was spacious. We would stay here again
