"Overall this is a great place and I would definitely stay there again. The condo is pretty big with 2 bedrooms and 3 beds. It was very clean and plenty of towels. Conveniently there were also beach toys available.

"We absolutely love SPI. This is our 2nd time staying at Moon Dancer and it never disappoints. The Palms down the road is awesome and the beach is always stunning. "Well, what a vacation. Have you every looked for a place to rent and while it was good on paper, it didn't meet your expectations? Well this is not that one. We went at the end of June 2022. Weather was warm in the rest of Texas, bearable in South Padre Island 88 during the day and 81 at night with 86 degree water temp. We loved this place and the island. Centrally Located. Within a block to the beach. Beach access is right next to a great little outdoor restaurant and bar. Don't want to sit at the bar? Order and take it back to the beach. Water is fantastic, the sand bars off the beach keep the swimming fun and the big fishes away.
The unit is upstairs, is well maintained and has AC. In the evenings you can sit out on the deck and listen to soft tones of local musicians playing at the bar the next block over. If you take the kids, go see the turtle habitat and release place. Just down the road from the condo is a great little drive through daiquiri bar and light snacks. They have a great selection of non alcoholic drinks for the kids and if you buy the cup, you can go back and fill it up for cheap. Our grandaughter couldn't get enough and we were more than happy to take her there several times a day. There is so much to do on the island, that we never left to go back to the mainland until it was time to leave. Food was still inexpensive on the island. Loved the restaurants as we can never get enough shrimp and seafood. For the fishermen, most restaurants have a 9.00-10.00 option where you can bring in the fish you caught (gotta be cleaned) they provide all of the sides and will prepare you fish anyway you like, blackened, grilled or fried. That is some fresh and tasty fish. Gas was .90 cents cheaper than home. Shells are on the northeast side of the island as they sweep the town side of the beach daily. Lots of great local restaurants, things to do and of course beach time. we would explore the island and see the unique things in the morning and spend all afternoon at the beach. Then back to the condo at night and ready to go out for dinner. AC is a great refresher to get your batteries charged.
These are some of the best beaches we have seen in America and this centrally located condo made getting to everything easy and most things are within walking distance. Don't forget to see the fireworks every Tuesday and Friday night. The south end has a tour boat that looks for dolphins, see the sunset and watch the fireworks.

"For New Years Eve 2021 we rented Moon Dancer 9. I loved that the complex was small and the condo was super clean and well stocked with cooking stuff. The unit is a little tight, but was plenty big enough for 4 adults and one child to be comfortable in. It's close to everywhere we wanted to go - the beach, restaurants, the store. We would love to stay here again.

"This was our first time (4 adults and 2 teens) and I must say it was a pleasant experience. The unit looks just like the picture. The unit was clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessities (pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker, etc). The patio was amazing to sit on in the evenings.
