Padre Island Rentals and Sunchase IV Condominiums Homeowners Association would like to welcome you and your companions to Sunchase IV Condominiums at South Padre Island, TX. We want to ensure the best possible experience for you and for all of our guests, so we ask that you follow the rules listed below as well as use common courtesy during your stay. Please follow posted rules on the property and any in-person instructions given by on-site staff. We genuinely appreciate your help in making Sunchase IV a great place to visit. Security
- During busy seasons, guests may be required to pay a resort fee/purchase a wristband. If so, every guest must wear their Sunchase IV Condominiums wristband at all times.
- Sunchase IV and Padre Island Rentals are not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property.
- Fire code allows for no more than 4 total guests in 1 bedroom condos; 6 total guests in 2 bedrooms; 8 in a 3 bedroom. For this reason, guest capacity is strictly enforced. For specific occupancy limits for your rental, please see your rental agreement.
- Student and young adult groups (under the age of 25) are required to have a custodial guardian present during check-in and for the entire duration of the rental period. If the custodial guardian must leave before the rental period is over, all guests must check-out.
- A custodial guardian is a parent, grandparent, chaperone of school/church group, etc.
Parking
- Your parking permit should be visible while parked on the premises. Only 1 permit per condo will be granted. Fines for failure to accrue or display a permit is $100. Towing and booting is enforced.
- Only authorized vehicles may use handicap accessible and maintenance/service parking spaces.
- Oversized vehicles may not be parked/cleaned in the lot.
- Padre Island Rentals and Sunchase IV are not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property; please secure your vehicle.
Pool Safety
- Rinse off sand/tar before using the pool.
- Pool hours are from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm.
- There is no lifeguard on duty; minor swimmers must be chaperoned.
- No diving/horseplay in the pool.
- Swimmers under the age of 12 may not use the hot tub/spa.
- To prevent injury, please do not smoke or use glass containers in the pool area or any other common areas where guests may be barefoot.
- Please do not relocate or reserve furniture from the pool or common areas.
- All guests must dry off completely before entering the building.
Amenities
- Our exercise room and sport courts are available for guest use only. Keys to these areas are provided by your rental company.
- Our exercise room is reserved for adults 18 years old or older.
Health & Safety
For the health and safety of everyone, please observe these safety notices:
- The cross breeze that occurs when both your patio and front doors are open at the same time is strong enough to cause serious injury and damage. Please do not have both doors open at the same time.
- Do not use glass containers in common areas.
- Smoking is not permitted in common areas, and butts should be disposed of safely.
- Please do NOT feed the seagulls on the property, balconies, or in pool areas. Bird feces can contaminate the pools and surrounding areas which exposes everyone. You can help keep yourself and other guests healthy, as well as keep maintenance costs down, by NOT feeding wildlife on the property.
- Do not sit or lean against railings.
Pets & Service Animals
- Pets are not allowed on Sunchase IV property.
- Registered service animals are always welcome. Please notify us beforehand to expect your service animal.
Common Comfort
- Please dry your wet clothing and towels indoors.
- Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM every night.
- Smoking is not permitted in condos, hallways, or in common outdoor areas.
- Do not leave trash bags in hallways. Do not litter on the property. Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
- We strive to regularly update our photos and listing descriptions; however, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in photos or descriptions.
- Padre Island Rentals staff works diligently to maintain sanitation and inventory; however, if you find something lacking, please reach out to Padre Island Rentals so we may promptly address your needs.
Violation of any of the above or on-site posted rules, disruption of the common good, or partaking in any illegal activity on the property is grounds for eviction and/or a police report. Rental fees and damage deposits will not be refunded. Fines for any infractions will be levied.
