Padre Island Rentals and Sunchase Beachfront Condominiums Homeowners Association would like to welcome you and your companions to Sunchase Beachfront Condominiums at South Padre Island, TX. We want to ensure the best possible experience for you and for all of our guests, so we ask that you follow the rules listed below as well as use common courtesy during your stay. Please follow posted rules on the property and any in-person instructions given by on-site staff. We genuinely appreciate your help in making Sunchase Beachfront a great place to visit. Security
- All guests must check-in at the on-site office and obtain a parking permit.
- Sunchase Beachfront and Padre Island Rentals are not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property.
- Fire code allows for no more than 6 total guests in 2 bedroom condos; 8 total guests in 3 bedrooms; 10 in a 4 bedroom. For this reason, guest capacity is strictly enforced. For specific occupancy limits for your rental, please see your rental agreement.
- Occupancy levels are strictly enforced. Wristbands and security enforce occupancy during prime seasons and holidays.
- Guests under the age of 25 must have a sufficient number of chaperones 25 years of age or older. Chaperones will be held accountable for the actions of the guests under the age of 25.
- There is zero tolerance for underage drinking on the property. The South Padre Island Police Department will be notified in every instance.
- Failure to comply with written or verbal instructions will result in eviction. No refunds will be granted for evictions.
Parking
- Your parking permit should be visible while parked on the premises.
- Only authorized vehicles may use handicap accessible and maintenance/service parking spaces.
- Oversized vehicles may not be parked in the lot during busy times. Please contact Sunchase Beachfront front office for approval or alternatives.
- Padre Island Rentals and Sunchase Beachfront are not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property; please secure your vehicle.
- Towing is enforced.
Pool Safety
- Pool hours are from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm.
- Proper pool attire is required for all guests. Babies should wear swim pants and not diapers.
- There is no lifeguard on duty. Swimmers under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- No diving/horseplay in the pool.
- To prevent injury, please do not smoke or use glass containers in the pool area or any other common areas where guests may be barefoot.
- Please do not relocate or reserve furniture from the pool or common areas.
- A maximum of 8 people are allowed in the hot tub at a time.
- Swimmers under 15 are not permitted in the hot tub.
Amenities
- Tennis courts – Use only appropriate tennis equipment on the tennis courts. Tennis is the only activity that may take place on the tennis courts.
- Outdoor common areas – No ball games are allowed on the property. Rollerblading, skateboarding, and bicycling are strictly prohibited on the property.
- On-site laundry facilities are located behind the front office and are available for guest use. Laundry soap can be purchased in the office. The washers & dryers require quarters to operate.
Condo Maintenance
- Do not remove any kitchen dishes or utensils from the condo.
- Do not dispose of grease in the sink.
- Do not dispose of shrimp peels, fish scales, celery, fruit/vegetable peels in the garbage disposal.
- Put diapers, sanitary napkins, tampons, and paper towels in the garbage – do not dispose of these items in the toilet. Garbage will be picked up daily.
- Please wash pots and pans before departure, as well as load the dishwasher.
Health & Safety
For the health and safety of everyone, please observe these safety notices:
- Do not use glass containers in common areas.
- Smoking is not permitted in common areas, and butts should be disposed of safely.
- Please do NOT feed the seagulls on the property, balconies, or in pool areas. Bird feces can contaminate the pools and surrounding areas which exposes everyone. You can help keep yourself and other guests healthy, as well as keep maintenance costs down, by NOT feeding wildlife on the property.
- Do not sit or lean against railings.
Grilling
- We invite you to use gas and electric grills on the balconies.
- Charcoal grills are permitted ONLY on the ground floor and must be used 15 ft away or more from the building.
Pets & Service Animals
- Pets are not allowed on Sunchase Beachfront property unless a request is submitted and approved before arrival. Contact the Sunchase Beachfront office. If a pet is approved, it is not allowed in the pool or pool area and must be leashed at all times.
- Registered service animals are always welcome. Please notify us beforehand to expect your service animal.
Common Comfort
- Please dry your wet clothing and towels indoors.
- Music and noise should be kept to a minimum both inside the condos and in common areas.
- Our complex is family-friendly – refrain from using language or listening to music that may be considered offensive to other guests while you visit common areas..
- Quiet hours begin at 11:00 PM every night.
- Smoking is not permitted in condos, hallways, or in common outdoor areas.
- Trash can be disposed of in the plastic containers at the entryway.
- Do not leave trash bags in hallways. Do not litter on the property. Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
- We strive to regularly update our photos and listing descriptions; however, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in photos or descriptions.
- Padre Island Rentals staff works diligently to maintain sanitation and inventory; however, if you find something lacking, please reach out to Padre Island Rentals so we may promptly address your needs.
Violation of any of the above or on-site posted rules, disruption of the common good, or partaking in any illegal activity on the property is grounds for eviction and/or a police report. Rental fees and damage deposits will not be refunded. Fines for any infractions will be levied.
