Padre Island Rentals and Sapphire Condominiums Homeowners Association would like to welcome you and your companions to Sapphire Condominiums at South Padre Island, TX. We want to ensure the best possible experience for you and for all of our guests, so we ask that you follow the rules listed below as well as use common courtesy during your stay. Please follow posted rules on the property and any in-person instructions given by on-site staff. We genuinely appreciate your help in making Sapphire a great place to visit. Security
- Sapphire Amenities, Lobby Areas, and Condos are accessed with either a key card or number combination. The number combination will be found on your key card. Please return the card to the on-site Concierge Desk at check-out.
- Every guest must wear their Sapphire Condominiums wristband at all times. Please return the wristband to the Conciege Desk at check-out.
- Sapphire and Padre Island Rentals are not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property.
- Fire code allows for no more than 6 total guests in 2 bedroom condos; 8 total guests in 3 bedrooms; and 10 in a 4 bedroom condo or bungalow. For this reason, guest capacity is strictly enforced. For specific occupancy limits for your rental, please see your rental agreement.
- Student, young adult, and Spring Break groups (under the age of 25) are not permitted.
- Valid ID is required at check-in.
- Renters are not permitted to have unregistered guests enter Sapphire property.
Parking
- Your parking permit should be visible while parked on the premises. Up to 2 parking permits are available per rental.
- Only authorized vehicles may use handicap accessible and maintenance/service parking spaces.
- Oversized and sport vehicles must be parked on the west perimeter of the parking lot by the pond.
- Electric Vehicle Charging stations are available on-site. Please relocated your vehicle to a standard parking space once charging is complete. Towing is enforced.
- Padre Island Rentals and Sapphire are not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property; please secure your vehicle.
Pool Safety
- Pool gates are accessed with the number combination located on your key card.
- An emergency phone is available in the palapa area.
- Rinse off sand/tar before using the pool.
- Swim diapers are required for children not potty trained.
- Pool hours are from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm during the off-season and from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm during summer and busy seasons.
- There is no lifeguard on duty.
- No diving/horseplay in the pool. Do not walk on cascade wall.
- Hard toys, boogie boards, footballs, etc are not permitted in the pool or pool area.
- To prevent injury, please do not smoke, vape, or use glass bottles or containers in the pool area or any other common areas where guests may be barefoot. Smoking and Vaping Fines start at $250 per person/per incident. Glass-use Fines start at $500 per person/per container. If a glass container or bottle is broken in the pool or very near the pool, fines start at $1000 in addition to the fees for draining, cleaning, and refilling the pool.
- Please do not relocate or reserve furniture from the pool or common areas.
- Music is not permitted in the pool area. Please use headphones to listen to music while in the pool area.
- No food is permitted in the pool or at the edge of the pool. Please keep foods away from the water and wild-life, including the birds and ground squirrels.
- Children under 14 are not permitted in the hot tub.
- It is not safe to use a spa or hot tub when temperatures exceed 104 degreess fahrenheit.
Amenities
- Cabanas – Pool-side Cabanas are available for rent at a daily rate of $125.
- Movie Theater – The communal movie theater is open to our guests until the final viewing at 9:00 pm most days. Movies above a PG-13 rating are not permitted. The movie theater may be reserved for private viewings at the Conierge Desk.
- Game Room – Game Room hours are from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm. Guests under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult 18+ years of age.
- Fitness Center – Exercise attire and athletic shoes are required to use the Fitness Center. Guests under 14 years of age are not permitted to use the Fitness Center.
- Smoking, vaping, and using glass bottles and containers are not permitted in common areas, pool areas, movie theater, game room, or fitness center.
- Furniture and equipment may not be removed, relocated, or reserved.
Health & Safety
For the health and safety of everyone, please observe these safety notices:
- Do not smoke, vape, or use glass bottles or containers in common areas. The designated smoking and vaping area is by the fireplace at the north end of the outdoor courtyard. Smoking and Vaping in any other area incus a fine starting at $250 per person/per incident. Glass-use fines start at $500 per person/per container. If a glass container or bottle is broken in or very near the pool, fines start at $1000 in addition to the fees for draining, cleaning, and refilling the pool.
- Please do NOT feed the seagulls on the property, balconies, or in pool areas. Bird feces can contaminate the pools and surrounding areas which exposes everyone. You can help keep yourself and other guests healthy, as well as keep maintenance costs down, by NOT feeding wildlife on the property.
- Do not sit or lean against railings.
- Keep hallways free of objects including beach chairs, ice chests, bags, and clothing.
Grilling
- Charcoal grills are not permitted on Sapphire property.
- Electric grilling is permitted only on the west balconies, and only with the electric grills already installed.
Pets & Service Animals
- Renters are not permitted to have pets on Sapphire property.
- Registered service animals are always welcome. Please notify us beforehand to expect your service animal.
Common Comfort
- Proper attire, cover-ups, shirts, and shoes are required to be worn by all guests when passing through or using indoor common areas such as the Lobby, Theater, Elevators, etc.
- Please dry your wet clothing and towels indoors.
- Quiet hours begin at 11:00 PM every night.
- Smoking is not permitted in condos, hallways, or in common outdoor areas. Please use the designated smoking area at the north end of the courtyard by the fireplace.
- Dispose of trash bags in the designated trash chute. There is a trash chute on each floor.
- Do not leave trash bags in hallways. Do not litter on the property. Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
- We strive to regularly update our photos and listing descriptions; however, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in photos or descriptions.
- Padre Island Rentals staff works diligently to maintain sanitation and inventory; however, if you find something lacking, please reach out to Padre Island Rentals so we may promptly address your needs.
Violation of any of the above or on-site posted rules, disruption of the common good, or partaking in any illegal activity on the property is grounds for eviction and/or a police report. Rental fees and damage deposits will not be refunded. Fines for any infractions will be levied.
