Padre Island Rentals and Gulfpoint Condominiums Homeowners Association would like to welcome you and your companions to Gulfpoint Condominiums at South Padre Island, TX. We want to ensure the best possible experience for you and for all of our guests, so we ask that you follow the rules listed below as well as use common courtesy during your stay. Please follow posted rules on the property and any in-person instructions given by on-site staff. We genuinely appreciate your help in making Gulfpoint Condominiums a great place to visit. Security
- Gulfpoint charges a $12 per person resort fee year round. A wristband will be issued to each guest and must be worn at all times during the guest’s stay. Resort Fees may be higher some holidays for busy periods.
- Gulfpoint Condominiums and Padre Island Rentals are not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property.
- Fire code allows for no more than 6 total guests in 1 bedroom condos; 8 total guests in 2 bedrooms; and 10 in a 3 bedroom; For this reason, guest capacity is strictly enforced. For specific occupancy limits for your rental, please see your rental agreement.
Parking
- Guests renting 1 bedroom condos will be given 1 parking permit. Guests renting 2 and 3 bedroom units will be given a maximum of 2 parking permits. All vehicles without permits must be parked off-site in public parking areas.
- Your parking permit should be visible while parked on the premises.
- Only authorized vehicles may use handicap accessible and maintenance/service parking spaces.
- Oversized vehicles may not be parked/cleaned in the garage. Please use the general parking area outside of the garage for oversize and overflow parking.
- Follow ground arrows and posted signs to move through the parking lot and garage. Traffic flow is one-way, and there are separate entrance and exit gates. Stand on the bike icon with your bicycle to activate the gate.
- Padre Island Rentals and Gulfpoint Condominiums are not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property; please secure your vehicle.
Pool Safety
- Food, drinks, and ice chests are not allowed in the pool or pool area.
- Rinse off sand/tar before using the pool.
- Proper swim attire is required. Children not yet potty-trained should wear swim diapers.
- There is no lifeguard on duty.
- Children under 10 may not use the hot tub.
- No diving or rough play is permitted in the pool or other common areas.
- To prevent injury, please do not smoke or use glass containers in the pool area or any other common areas where guests may be barefoot.
- Pets are not allowed in the pool or pool area.
- No food of any type inside deck or pool area (there are tables and chairs outside the gym and in front of the pool to use when eating)
- Use proper swimming attire. Dry fit clothing will work in additional to your original swim suits.
- No cotton shirts allowed inside water. They clog up filters.
Amenities
- Please return luggage carts to the first floor after use.
- Please rinse sand and tar off of yourself and your items before entering the elevator.
- Please do not relocate or reserve any tables or chairs in common areas.
- Please sign-up in the on-site Gulfpoint office between 8 AM and 5 PM to use the tennis courts.
Health & Safety
For the health and safety of everyone, please observe these safety notices:
- We have implemented the “Wear a Mask” while in the office. The Delta Variance Virus is in full swing and need to protect everyone indoors.
- Do not use glass containers in common areas.
- Smoking is not permitted in common areas, and butts should be disposed of safely.
- Please do NOT feed the seagulls on the property, balconies, or in pool areas. Bird feces can contaminate the pools and surrounding areas which exposes everyone. You can help keep yourself and other guests healthy, as well as keep maintenance costs down, by NOT feeding wildlife on the property.
- Do not sit or lean against railings.
Grilling
- Enjoy outdoor grilling in our designated grilling areas.
- Grills cannot be reserved in advance.
- Do not move furniture into the grilling area.
- No additional chairs or tables can be placed on BBQ pit area
- Use a considerate music volume while in the grilling area.
- Dispose of charcoal after it is completely extinguished.
- Please do not use personal grills on patios or balconies.
- Padre Island Rentals and Gulfpoint Condominiums are not responsible for injuries or property loss.
Pets & Service Animals
- Please use the designated pet areas, and clean up after your pets.
- Pets must be on a leash at all times except when in the dog park.
- Registered service animals are always welcome. Please notify us beforehand to expect your service animal.
Common Comfort
- No towels in balconies
- Please dry your wet clothing and towels indoors.
- No loud boom boxes
- Smoking is not permitted in condos, hallways, or in common outdoor areas.
- Our condominiums are family-friendly; no adult language is permitted in the pool, pool area, or other common areas.
- Do not leave trash bags in hallways. Do not litter on the property. Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
- Quite time is 11 PM. Keep noise to a minimum. Respect your neighbors.
- We strive to regularly update our photos and listing descriptions; however, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in photos or descriptions.
- Padre Island Rentals staff works diligently to maintain sanitation and inventory; however, if you find something lacking, please reach out to Padre Island Rentals so we may promptly address your needs.
Violation of any of the above or on-site posted rules, disruption of the common good, or partaking in any illegal activity on the property is grounds for eviction and/or a police report. Rental fees and damage deposits will not be refunded. Fines for any infractions will be levied.
