Padre Island Rentals and Florence I Condominiums Homeowners Association would like to welcome you and your companions to Florence I Condominiums at South Padre Island, TX. We want to ensure the best possible experience for you and for all of our guests, so we ask that you follow the rules listed below as well as use common courtesy during your stay. Please follow posted rules on the property and any in-person instructions given by on-site staff. We genuinely appreciate your help in making Florence I a great place to visit. Security
- During busy seasons, guests may be required to pay a resort fee/purchase a wristband. If so, every guest must wear their Dunes Condominiums wristband at all times.
- Fire code allows for no more than 4 total guests in efficiency condos; 6 total guests in 1 bedroom condos; and 8 total guests in 2 bedrooms. For this reason, guest capacity is strictly enforced. For specific occupancy limits for your rental, please see your rental agreement.
- Florence I and Padre Island Rentals are not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property.
Parking
- You may collect a maximum of 2 parking permits. One (1) permit will allow you to park next to the building, subject to spaces being available, or in any of the Florence I parking areas west of Gulf Blvd at the intersection of Cora Lee Dr. The second permit is only for parking in Florence I’s parking area at the corner of Gulf Blvd and Cora Lee Dr.
- Oversize vehicles are not permitted.
- Your parking permit should be visible while parked on the premises or overflow lots.
- Vehicles without parking permits must be parked off-site in public parking areas.
- Please do not park in the Florence II front lot.
- Only authorized vehicles may use handicap accessible and maintenance/service parking spaces.
- Padre Island Rentals and Florence I are not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property; please secure your vehicle.
Pool Safety
- Rinse off sand/tar before using the pool.
- There is no lifeguard on duty.
- No diving/horseplay in the pool.
- To prevent injury, please do not smoke or use glass containers in the pool area or any other common areas where guests may be barefoot.
- Pets are not allowed in the pool or pool area.
Amenities
- Please return luggage carts to the first floor immediately after unloading.
Health & Safety
For the health and safety of everyone, please observe these safety notices:
- Do not use glass containers in common areas.
- Smoking is not permitted in common areas, and butts should be disposed of safely.
- Please do NOT feed the seagulls on the property, balconies, or in pool areas. Bird feces can contaminate the pools and surrounding areas which exposes everyone. You can help keep yourself and other guests healthy, as well as keep maintenance costs down, by NOT feeding wildlife on the property.
- Do not sit or lean against railings.
Grilling
- Grilling is not permitted on Florence I property.
Pets & Service Animals
- Florence I Condominiums allows pets, however, individual condo owners may not allow pets in their home. Please see your rental agreement for specific pet restrictions.
- Pet agreement and fees are required for each pet.
- Well behaved, social dogs with up-to-date vaccinations are welcome.
- Please leash your pet at all times.
- Guests with pets are required to clean up after their pets. Please relieve your pet off the premises.
- Pets are not allowed in the common areas except to pass through.
- Pets are allowed on elevators only when guests from other units are not present.
- Registered service animals are always welcome. Please notify us beforehand to expect your service animal.
Common Comfort
- Please dry your wet clothing and towels indoors.
- Quiet hours begin at 11:00 PM.
- Please do not use hallways or balconies for storage of personal belongings.
- Smoking is not permitted in condos, hallways, or in common outdoor areas.
- Fireworks, BB guns, and firearms are not permitted on Florence I property.
- Do not leave trash bags in hallways. Do not litter on the property. Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
- We strive to regularly update our photos and listing descriptions; however, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in photos or descriptions.
- Padre Island Rentals staff works diligently to maintain sanitation and inventory; however, if you find something lacking, please reach out to Padre Island Rentals so we may promptly address your needs.
Violation of any of the above or on-site posted rules, disruption of the common good, or partaking in any illegal activity on the property is grounds for eviction and/or a police report. Rental fees and damage deposits will not be refunded. Fines for any infractions will be levied.
