Padre Island Rentals and Edgewater Condominiums Homeowners Association would like to welcome you and your companions to Edgewater Condominiums at South Padre Island, TX. We want to ensure the best possible experience for you and for all of our guests, so we ask that you follow the rules listed below as well as use common courtesy during your stay. Please follow posted rules on the property and any in-person instructions given by on-site staff. We genuinely appreciate your help in making Edgewater Condominiums a great place to visit. Security
- During busy seasons, guests may be required to pay a resort fee/purchase a wristband. If so, every guest must wear their Edgewater Condominiums wristband at all times. Our current wristband schedule is from May 26, 2022 through September 11, 2022.
- Edgewater Condominiums and Padre Island Rentals are not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property.
- Fire code allows for no more than 6 total guests in 2 bedroom condos; 8 total guests in 3 bedrooms; For this reason, guest capacity is strictly enforced. For specific occupancy limits for your rental, please see your rental agreement.
- Student, young adult, and Spring Break groups (under the age of 25) are not permitted.
Parking
- Your parking permit should be visible while parked on the premises.
- Only authorized vehicles may use handicap accessible and maintenance/service parking spaces.
- Oversized vehicles may not be parked/cleaned in the lot.
- Padre Island Rentals and Edgewater Condominiums are not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property; please secure your vehicle.
Pool Safety
- Rinse off sand/tar before using the pool.
- Swim attire is required in the pool.
- Pool hours are from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.
- No diving/horseplay in the pool.
- Please do not relocate or reserve any tables or chairs from the pool area.
- There is no lifeguard on duty; swimmers under the age of 12 must be chaperoned. Additionally, swimmers under the age of 12 may not use the hot tubs.
- To prevent injury, please do not smoke or use glass containers in the pool area or any other common areas where guests may be barefoot.
- Pets are not allowed in the pool or pool area.
Amenities
- Proper attire and equipment is required on the tennis courts.
- Pets are not allowed on the tennis courts.
- Please do not relocate or reserve any tables or chairs in common areas.
- Return luggage carts to the 1st floor after use.
Health & Safety
For the health and safety of everyone, please observe these safety notices:
- Children must be chaperoned at all times. Children are not permitted to play/run on balconies or in hallways.
- Fireworks and guns are not permitted anywhere on Edgewater property.
- Do not use glass containers in common areas.
- Smoking is not permitted in common areas, and butts should be disposed of safely.
- Please do NOT feed the seagulls on the property, balconies, or in pool areas. Bird feces can contaminate the pools and surrounding areas which exposes everyone. You can help keep yourself and other guests healthy, as well as keep maintenance costs down, by NOT feeding wildlife on the property.
- Do not sit or lean against railings.
Grilling
- Enjoy outdoor grilling in our designated grilling areas.
- Dispose of charcoal after it is completely extinguished.
- Please do not use open flame (charcoal and gas) grills on patios or balconies; only electric grills may be used on patios and balconies.
Pets & Service Animals
- If your condo owner allows pets, you must clean up after them in the common areas.
- Pets are never allowed in the pool, pool area, or tennis court.
- Registered service animals are always welcome.
Common Comfort
- Please dry your wet clothing and towels indoors.
- Quiet hours begin at 10:30 PM every night.
- Smoking is not permitted in condos, hallways, or in common outdoor areas.
- Do not leave trash bags in hallways. Do not litter on the property. Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
- We strive to regularly update our photos and listing descriptions; however, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in photos or descriptions.
- Padre Island Rentals staff works diligently to maintain sanitation and inventory; however, if you find something lacking, please reach out to Padre Island Rentals so we may promptly address your needs.
Violation of any of the above or on-site posted rules, disruption of the common good, or partaking in any illegal activity on the property is grounds for eviction and/or a police report. Rental fees and damage deposits will not be refunded. Fines for any infractions will be levied.
